Admissions Criteria
When you have decided Kandela is the right place for yourself or a loved one, let’s make sure we are a right fit for you. Kandela provides comprehensive inpatient mental health treatment for adults, men and women ages 18 and above.
We understand that many people who struggle with mental wellness may also experience a variation of co-occurring disorders. At Kandela, we offer an integrated treatment program to help address these underlying issues. Some of the most common mental health disorders we treat are trauma, anxiety, depression, personality and mood disorders.
If you or a loved one meets this criteria, you may begin the admissions process by contacting us directly or by a professional you’re working with. A member of our team will be available to speak with you and begin the intake and admissions process 24/7.
During Admissions
Kandela’s admission process is fairly simple, consisting of a medical assessment and a comprehensive psychiatric assessment with a licensed clinician.
Once processed into the facility there is a screening and pre-assessment that takes place to make sure our facility remains safest place for stabilization and treatment.
When the assessments and intake processes are complete one of our staff members will escort you to your room and if you’re up to it, show you the facility and introduce you to the community.
